Welcome to Edgy

Edgy is the online journal of the Synchronized Figure Skating team Women n Sync.

Here we are practicing in Central Park in the early moring. It was the teams last practice at Wollman before the rink closed for the season. Every Friday morning the team was up before the sun, in order to start practice at 6:00am. We would begin our practice in darkness and by the end of the hour the sun would rise. Most mornings we were pretty bundled up, but towards the end of the season it was much warmer and refreshing to get outside and skate in the bright sunlight.

2007 Eastern Sectional Synchronized Team Skating Championships, Providence RI

This was the teams first time going to Easterns. The team skated an amazing program and everyone was very excited with a 4th place finsh! All of the hard work throughout the year paid off. Women n Sync is looking forward to preforming in ice shows around the New York area, including appearances at Wollman rink, Central Park, and the Kate Wollman Rink, Prospect Park.

Synchronized Skating Classic Lake Placid. January 2007

Just recently the team journeyed to Lake Placid New York to compete in the Synchronized Skating Classic. This was only the teams third competition, and we were very excited to win the silver medal!

After a summer and fall of training, Women n sync
competed at Terry Conners Syncro Open in December 2006.
The team won their first competition!
